Seven photographs.
Seven moments a man rewrote what courage looked like.
Seven photographs by Rainer W. Schlegelmilch, the man who was actually there. Not licensed from an archive. Chosen, frame by frame, with Rainer himself. He's part of this project because he loves it.
Sir Jackie Stewart.
There are champions who win races. And there are champions who change the world.
-
Sir Jackie Stewart didn't just win races, he changed what it meant to be a champion. Three-time Formula One World Champion with 27 Grand Prix victories, "The Flying Scot" raced with a precision and intelligence that set him apart from his generation.
But his greatest legacy was fought off the track. In an era when drivers accepted death as the price of speed, Stewart refused and his relentless campaign for safety transformed motorsport forever, saving countless lives.
Elegant, principled, and fiercely modern: a champion measured not only by what he won, but by everything he changed.
Rainer W. Schlegelmilch.
He Didn't Photograph Racing.
He Defined It.

The eye behind the legend
For more than fifty years, Rainer W. Schlegelmilch, known in the paddock as RWS, has been one of the defining photographers of Formula 1. He shot his first race at the Nürburgring in 1962, then made speed, light and motion his art rather than mere documentation. His archive holds over 15,000 black-and-white photographs and nearly 600,000 colour slides, and in 2011 Bernie Ecclestone awarded him a permanent lifetime pass at Monza.
The seven photographs in this edition are his. For Frames of Legends, that is where the story starts.
AR Experience:
Beyond the frame.
The moment it's yours,
it's truly yours.
A numbered certificate. A private page that opens only for you. And your copy, followed in real time as it comes to life, from the artisan's hands in Italy to the box at your door. Every step, visible. Nothing left to chance.
In the end, it's all about memory.
Race Against Dementia is Sir Jackie Stewart's foundation, born after his wife Helen's diagnosis. Its mission carries the same urgency he once brought to the track: to win against time. A share of every edition goes to RAD directly. A collectible becomes a contribution, and a memory worth keeping helps protect the ones that fade.
